Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.

- 3Confirm the oven isn't stuck in Sabbath mode, delay start, or a self-clean lock from a cycle that never finished.
- 4Look at the plug and cord behind the range for scorch marks or a loose connection, then leave it alone if you see any.

Do you work on both gas and electric ranges?
Yes. Gas cooktops with spark igniters, sealed burners, electric coil and smoothtop surfaces, dual-fuel slide-ins. Wall ovens too. Tell us the fuel type and roughly how old the unit is when you call us, and we'll come prepared.
My oven takes forever to preheat. Worth fixing?
Usually. Slow preheat often points to a weak bake element, or a gas igniter that's lost strength and can no longer open the valve quickly. Both are common parts, well understood. We test before recommending anything.
Is a cracked glass cooktop repairable?
The glass gets replaced, not patched. Whether that makes sense depends on the model and whether the part is still produced. We'll check availability and tell you honestly if replacing the range is the smarter move.
Can I keep using the range while I wait?
If it's an oven fault and the cooktop works normally, generally yes. Stop immediately for any gas smell, sparking, burning odor, or a burner that won't shut off. Unplug an electric unit or kill its breaker.
Do you carry parts on the truck?
Common igniters, elements, switches and sensors ride along. Control boards and model-specific pieces get ordered once we've confirmed the exact part number from your tag. We'll give you a realistic timeline at the visit.
What should I have ready when I call?
Model and serial number, usually on a tag behind the oven door, inside the drawer, or along the frame. Also useful: what changed, when it started, and whether any smells, sounds or error codes came with it.
